About Little Seedlings

Here at little seedlings we have a close family team of fully qualified staff both in education and early years as well as paediatric first aid, which provides safeguarding and child development on a daily basis. We are registered with Ofsted as well as PACEY and are inspected regularly through the inspection framework with consistent good practice being reported.

What the inspectors say about us:

• The childminder provides fun, high-quality learning experiences for children, particularly outside. For example, she provides resources, such as a tent, adding items, such as blankets and books. This sparks children’s imaginative thinking and they engage in detailed, prolonged imaginative play.
• Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are skilfully supported. The childminder plans carefully to ensure that all children are fully included in all areas of her setting.
• Children develop an exceptional feeling of security and belonging as they make strong attachments with the childminder. They demonstrate their confidence and positive selfesteem. They develop exceedingly good relationships with each other and make friends easily.
• The childminder has established exceptionally strong partnerships with parents. She offers them advice and support. Parents talk about the care and support the childminder provides being for the whole family.
• Children are extremely well safeguarded. The childminder has a thorough understanding of her responsibilities to protect them. She has an excellent knowledge of local procedures and how to implement them if she has a concern about children in her care.
